Remote Control

Fotoaparatas.lt offers a wide range of remote control options for cameras and camcorders at a low price. The simplest remote controls trigger the camera or camcorder shutter via radio signal. More advanced devices can set a periodic camera shutter release – Time Lapse function or Time Lapse Video. With more advanced controllers or remote control units, you can activate the timer function. You can also use your smartphone for remote control. Most new cameras and camcorders can be controlled via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi wireless connection.

A REMOTE CONTROL or REMOTE CONTROL UNIT is an electronic device used to control another device remotely. Control is usually done wirelessly, but there are also wired control units.

Wireless remote controls often feature dust and splash-resistant designs, and they are typically very lightweight and small, easily fitting into a small pocket.

CONTROL CAMERAS AND FLASHES

Remote controls can be used to control cameras and flashes. Remote controls designed for cameras provide functions such as: autofocus control, remote shutter release, control between still images (photos) and videos, and long exposure shutter release.

Wireless remote controls typically use Bluetooth connection and can be used to start and stop video recording. Some wireless remote controls can also be used as wired devices when connected with a compatible cable.

Camera and flash remote controls are essential tools for photographers, offering great control and convenience during shooting.

REMOTE CONTROL UNITS ARE SPECIAL FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

  1. Stability: When the camera is controlled remotely, there is less risk of movement or disturbance to the camera's position, thus preventing blurry photos due to camera shake.

  2. Remote Control: These remotes allow photographers to control cameras and flash sources remotely. This is especially useful when shooting from a distance or when the photographer has to participate in remote photography.

  3. Group Photos: Remote controls often allow setting a timer function or shooting from remote angles where it would be difficult to do so manually. This helps create group photos and allows the photographer to include themselves in the images.

  4. Control Variety: These remotes can have many features, allowing photographers to adjust settings, focus, exposure, and other parameters remotely. This gives the photographer more creative possibilities.

  5. Simplicity and Convenience: Most remote controls are easy to use and comfortable to hold, allowing the photographer to focus on shooting rather than adjusting the camera settings.

  6. Light Control: When talking about flash remote control, it enables photographers to adjust the power level, direction, color, and other parameters of the light source remotely to achieve the desired lighting effect.

  7. Longer Range: Many remote controls have long operational ranges, making them suitable for long-distance shooting situations.

  8. Multi-Device Control: Some remote controls allow photographers to control not only one camera or flash but also an entire set of devices, providing even more control convenience.

Remote controls give photographers greater control and convenience during shooting, especially in situations where physical contact with the devices is limited or impossible. They are an essential tool for both professional photographers and enthusiasts who want to improve their shooting skills.
